I am not worried about the person smoking; I am sure there will be one less person hurting me and environment :)

I’m a pack a day smoker currently. Smoke two packs daily for 10 years prior to quitting cold-turkey the first time.

I’ve seen all these things before. I’ve also quit before (for 4 years) and experienced none of these things.

My blood pressure has never been an issue. I never noticed a single difference in smelling or taste. Except I could smell smoke ON someone a whole lot easier.

Energy level rising was also a myth for me. It seemed to make no difference at all. The only side-effect I noticed is that I gained a lot of weight when I quit & I had more free spending cash. Buggers are always getting more expensive. If I ever quit again it will be due to cost. At least that’s tangible and easy to see.
